After a year of dreaming, brainstorming, and baking, we opened our first food concept, Vonckelend, in May 2025, right in the heart of Amsterdam, just steps from Dam Square.
By combining the craftsmanship of a Limburg bakery (since 1907) with the energy of the city, we created a concept that is authentic, innovative, and unmistakably Dutch. At Vonckelend, poffertjes take center stage, served with a creative twist while staying true to tradition.
Founded by Dominique Voncken and Marlou Becker, Vonckelend brings together heritage, flavor, and Amsterdam spirit in one place.
